Ucluelet/Tofino Shore Fishing August

I’m going to be staying in Ucluelet the first week of August and planning on doing a lot of shore fishing. Would love to get into some salmon from shore and would like some advice on the buzzbomb and zinger fishing up there. Do people ever target halibut from shore in that area? Thanks for the advice and look forward to visiting BC, here are a couple photos from Northern California.

Small buzz bombs are great for coho that time of year. Middle Beach and Mackenzie.

Halibut do come in shallow but I haven’t heard of anyone catching one from shore. Might be worth sending a drone out and then doing a long reel in!

Subscribed. Heading to Tofino in early July and I'm going to bring an inflatable but might do some shore casting as well.
