Those Rabbits look to be a fatter version of the old Yamashita birds I like so much.

the rabbit work great.. less drag then some of the birds ... Its super cool watching one of them disappear..Almost better then watching a Freddy Bachera Float going down on the Thompson river :)

3rd week in July….till early Oct.

There is also a early wave of very hungry aggressive choppers around the first week of July sometimes but that can be a bit of a glorified wildlife viewing trip if nothing else. I mean its not an easy trip because your the only ones out there and there is no intel to go by.

You also need to get a subscription to Terrafin, and read up a little on understanding temperature breaks. It isn't rocket science. Trolling at 6-8knts, you cover a lot of water quite quickly, and if you get yourself to the correct area from the previous day's charts, you'll save a ton of gas and hopefully get on the fish quickly, even without intel. Alternatively, get intel.

Thanks e,

Definitely we will be on the Terrafin program and hopefully able to scrounge up a bit of Intel when the time comes.

[QUOTE="Chuck, post: 785574, member: 7554With that capacity I figure the fuel rule will be in the neighborhoodish of 20% out, 20% return with a 60% safety factor. That I can live with![/QUOTE]
That is a great capacity for sure but remember you are on the troll for 8+ hours sometimes at 7-8 knots/hr... That is also another thing to consider as was mentioned before... The weight factors.
Here's to hoping for a great Alfie season boys!

Being just a little green at it I won't know for sure what fuel will be used while trolling at that rate but I'll tell you what I'll defiantly be keeping close attention to it!!!
