Does anyone have any information about Tuna fishing off the west coast of Van Island such as location, time of year, how far out, where to launch etc. Any help would be much appreciated. Schooey

Get into the off-shore waters and start heading West until the water turns blue and you can see down about 50 feet into it. Depth sounder should read about 2000 feet or so.

Make sure you carry enough fuel to get home - or alternately enough food and fresh water to last until you drift to Hawaii or Japan.
