Tulista launch in a SE wind

Looking for some info on Tulista launch. Planning to launch there this friday, wind looks like 10-20 SE. Wondering if that will be a problem with the lack of a breakwater there. Any advice from those who use the ramp more often? Is that amount of wind and direction going to be an issue? Its a 24' aluminum and I'll be solo. Thanks!

I think the NE or Easterly wind is the worst there? I've retrieved and abandoned plans to launch there in some wind and waves. Ended up not launching one day and helped a senior couple and an older guy come into the dock. I got a black eye from the anchor pulpit of the couple's nice aluminum, and I didn't save the older guy's life, but given how unprepared and shaky he was, no life jacket and dock lines, it could have turned into a fibreglass smash-up pretty quickly. You can always pull into Sidney marina and wait out a storm.

I have had to abandon a couple times there. This time of year and that short dock makes it hard solo. I'm with Kaelc Sidney harbour is your bail out spot.
