trout lures

i'm new to fishing and just started fishing for trout in westwood lake nanaimo but so far no luck. does anyone know any good trout lures or tips to get me started thanks.

Wait for cooler weather troutboy. Fish the early mornings and evenings with flatfish, spinners or gangtroll and worm.. It can be a productive lake when the conditions are right.. It receives heavy pressure but holds some of the larger trout that the local lakes have to offer..dirty

Thanks for the advice. I'm just itching to get a fish on the line. Have you ever fished for Pinks on the Millstone? What would be the best setup for that?

Im not sure your allowed to fish the millstone...... unless your are 16 and younger or 65 and older.......
