Trolling Without Downrigger-Plug or Spoon?

By all means the coyote spoons,but they gotta take a 7 inch tomic (maybe a tubby tee)for the lings

I would use the 8 oz weight with 6 foot leader to a cutplug herring (you could use an anchovie in a teaser if you wanted). Works for all salmon species. Fish a slow troll or mooch. If you are slow trolling with an 8 oz and cutplug, I would not try to fish any deeper than 70 ft. Fish tide lines or in close to shore.
