troll mode works for port but not starboard

Hoping the acquired wisdom here can help me out.

Currently have twin 2013 Suzuki 250s. Per the manual, troll mode should work on both engines. However, it only works on the port.

Any ideas where to even start the trouble shooting?

Love using it, especially with newbies (1 beep up!)

When I was having issues with mine they suggested I unplug it from the wiring harness Make sure the connections are dry and plug it back in. I unplugged it it was dry plugged it back in and it worked again. I also happen to have one of those switches for sale brand new in the box. Also this
“The motors have to be at operating temperature, put in forward idle detent, then hold troll mode button down for 3 seconds. This puts it into troll mode, now you can hit the button up and down for control.”

I don’t think it’s the switch as it works perfectly on the port engine.
Will certainly try the unplug/replug.
