Tri Hull or Single Hull !

G’day gentI have narrowed my search down to three boats for deep sea fishing, never owned a Tri Hull or Tohatsu, Honda outboard had 8 Quintrex Cruiseabout the Green & the Yellow ones over the years with Yamaha, Johnson, Evinrude ! and I would like some feedback on which one please !

So by "deep sea fiahing" you mean you plan to launch somewhere on the Gold Coast and head offshore? Or mostly tidal estuary fishing in the Tweed, Nerang, Cooperate systems?

I wonder how a nice Double Eagle would work down under? Bet it would hold its own eh! Stay a way from old 2 strokes, sorry can't help much with the Australian hulls.

For the record I don’t like the tri-hull design.
I’d take the second option. 10 more horsepower than the Honda!

I am pretty sure there was or is a fellow that was importing and selling Quintrex aluminum boats here in Vancouver.

I personally would stay away from the 2 stroke but the blue one does appear to have more space and possibly deeper gunnels if you don’t care about a top.
