Hey guys, I recently had installed a Raymarine ES128 MFD and also a new radome (rayrarine quantum 2). I kept the existing tranducer as I was told it would work fine with my new MFD but it's not the case. The sonar being displayed now is quite poor quality and the ES128 has CHIRP and downvision functionality that is currently not showing up on my MFD because the existing transducer is 10+years old and not good enough from what I'm told.
I have an aluminum boat and a thru hull transducer and wanted to see if others have any suggestions on what my best option(s) would be to upgrade my transducer. I've put a call in to the Roton guys and they will be providing some options as well but would like to hear from anyone here with their recommendations.
