Need 5 st235/80R16 tires.

I much prefer the price of the motomaster or Chinese tires but ive heard stories of them only lasting 5 years. and my goodyears lasted 14 years before the sidewalls went on them

does anyone have any experience with the cheaper tires? or have a good guy on the inside ? located in comox

I was a bit hesitant to go from Good Year to Carlisle but they’ve been pretty good after 5 years/7,000 Kms and still looking pretty good.

We have had Carlisle tires on our cabin utility trailer since 2007, and they’re not showing any outward signs of aging

FYI Carlisle has rebranded as Carlstar for some reason. Tires are made offshore.

I ended up putting a set of Carlstar tires on our RV trailer in April this year. Done a few 1000kms including lots of rough gravel roads and the tires seem fine.
