Unfortunately it's now official. He has passed on. Damn the Totpedos was always one of my favorites. One of the first albums I bought when I bought my first stereo.

I was fortunate to see Tom Petty at Rogers Arena August 17th this year, what a fabulous concert (also saw the Zac Brown Band the next night, also a great concert).
I said right after the concerts that I would go see either again if they came near Victoria/Vancouver/Seattle, unfortunately now none of us will see the legendary Tom Petty live, only in historical concert footage.

Such a bummer, best entertainer I've ever seen. Was fortunate enough to see him two times live in the last 6 months.

Most recently in Del Mar CA at the Kaaboo festival Sept 15th. He closed out the weekend Sunday night.

A true Rock Star, he's going to be missed but never forgotten
