I put Falken Wildpeak AT Trail tires on our family SUV. We do take the SUV on gravel forestry roads, not just pavement, and the AT Trail does well there. The AT Trail has been a great all-around tire and even has the "3-peak mountain" snow designation. However, they are NOT as good on snow and ice as a dedicated winter tire (we use Blizzak WS-90 for winter)
The AT Trail is excellent in wet weather and hydroplaning resistance. The OEM tires were some Continental tires that were absolutely terrible at everything except being quiet.
I think if I was only running on pavement I would be looking at the Michelin Cross Climate
