I've allways wanted a tide watch but was told they don't work here??? anyone ever had one?

Lots of surfers have them in Tofino. They seem to work well for them.

More accurate for coastal areas like the west coast. Less accurate for waters in the straits and such. Not worth the money imo. Just use your phone. Besides, it doesn't offer current forecast so you would be best served checking something that offers both.
