That is crazy but goes on more than we realize. I remember reading about a chase that lasted days? if I recall down in Australia quite a few years ago. It's a shame the EU does almost nothing to these fishing pirates. Look into what the Spanish fleet is doing along the African coast.
 
Does anybody remember when our lieberal fisheries minister was Brian Tobin? He had a Portuguese fishing boat seized because they were fishing illegally in Canadian waters. I gues this was not a politically correct thing to do, or very UN-CANADIAN.
his political carreer went downhill after that. I think that style of politician is going extinct, pity. I think we should have with gonads the size of his.
