The "System" Man.....

Do you just haphazardly use anything you've got in the tackle box when fishing?

Or are you a 'system" man?..

that is:- rather than run several things you stick to one thing (like hoochies or plugs etc etc etc )......and you continually tweak that one system..

For example....you are running hoochies......and you are not getting bites at first......do you>

Run the same hoochy but change leader lengths .........change to another hoochy........try a different style of hoochy (like switch to needfish version etc etc)?

Or let's say plugs.........change to a different size plug ...or a different color......or brand......until it works?

Or spoons....keep at it until you find the correct , size, color, style of spoon?

In other words stick with one system all day and keep tweaking and dialing in until you get it right?

Instead of just running the gamut out of the tackle box.........

I will rarely change tactics....shorten hoochy leader...maybe...but rarely. Just comes from area knowledge. However....i will change based on observation .
Plugs...once i am on plugs...it's all plugs. Love plugs when they're on the plugs.
If I brined up 2 packs of Chovies....because it's chovies time...it's chovies all charter and/or trip. Unless we start scratch...then anything goes.
Ah...then there is hoochies....the moment a certain colour lights it up with confirmation that is the one....all lines get that colour so we kill it BIG.
Spoons...ah...have had them drop one colour and size from one day to the next or if one of the inputs/variables change...change it up....hit 'em hard.
