B.C. scraps proposed changes to Land Act amid consultation, controversy
The British Columbia government is scrapping a plan that was to allow shared decision-making with First Nations about the use of public land, which was part of the province's work to align its laws with the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.www.cheknews.ca
Thank ****!
Smoke and mirrors,So the proposed changes ment nothing and would effect no one, but people thought they would change things, so we’re not changing it now, but the changes did nothing
Most government thing ever
I’m sure this has nothing to do with it being an election year . At least people are aware now what this government wants to do and it’s just a matter of time if they win the next election.
Let's hope people remember what they tried to pull a fast one on when the next provincial election comes up for the NDP!100% it was going to cost them a lot of votes
I voted against it and all the other bs the UN, WEF and WHO does.British Columbia becomes 1st Canadian province to pass UN Indigenous rights declaration | Globalnews.ca
The legislation passed the committee stage and third reading at the unanimously on Tuesday, to cheers and applause from MLAs on both sides of the house.globalnews.ca
Note, no one voted against it.
Just the start..Another NDP decision with no consultation.
