me and my dad are planning a fishing trip for mid july next year. we are going to go somewhere on the island. where should we go. we have a 20 ft boat and just want to catch fish. not meat fisherman just like to catch fish.

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

if you want lots of action port hardy is the spot all species are abundant is july and not hard to find hot spots

well i have electric downriggers and lots of tackle the only thing i m lackin is a good variety of spoons.and maybe some different color flashers. u know how it is, a guy can never have enough. as for species we are targeting, a tyee would be cool but watchin a coho a go nuts is what i like.

If you come out to Tofino we will gladly help you out. Inshore or Offshore fishing for Chinook and Coho not far from the dock...
Port Hardy is a great option as well.
