Well I guess it all boils down to the "Stand Your Ground" Law.
In ordinary self defense law you can meet force with equal force but you are supposed to try and escape first.
In the SYG law , you are not required to try and escape. You simply stand your ground and you can meet force with deadly force IF YOU BELIEVE YOUR LIFE IS IN DANGER.......
Now your life does not actually HAVE to be in danger....all that's required with SYG is to BELIEVE your life is in danger.
Anybody can SAY they believed there life was in danger.
So the SYG law is really a Carte-Blanche law to use deadly force anyway you see fit......with no consequences......
