Thank you to all of the volunteers and residents of Lk. Cowichan who organized a giant clean up of the Cowichan River. Divers, boats, and hikers all helped in the clean up and they now hope to make it an anual thing. This year the tubing on the Cowichan River went nuts and that was a HUGE part of the problem. One of the main guys involved in the clean up is co owner of the tubing company, guilty concense perhaps. Another big thanks to long time cowie guide and resident Joe Sasel for bringing attntion to this matter.
