Thank You Seabeam!

As some of you know from past posts, a number of us were not happy with our experience at Seabeam Lodge in Bamfield this May.

But I want to tell you that the owners went out of their way to make things better. Even tho they were not obligated to do so, they have given us a full refund.

While I will not be staying at the lodge, I hear good things about the trailers they have for accommodation. Who knows, a trip to Seabeam might be in order since the owners put that extra effort into restitution for our party.

Mid 90s I stayed there on two occassions,accommodations good boat rental good,however staff interaction with guests sucked. no communication,no willingness to advise,and 1 guy there on the desk just sucked, see it probably hasent changed that much. Proper hospitality training/interaction might help that outfit

We had no problems there this year at all, especially hospitality.

Mid 90s holy cow they have prob had 5 different owners since then. I think u should take a trip back or forward to 2011.

I get back and open up these replys? Yes it was 15 yrs ago when I stayed there on 2 seperate occasions, so what?
When the gentleman stated he had a bad experience there I immediately thought of my own 2 BAD experiences there.
He got restitution, thats a good thing. I was reminicing with my experiences and why wouldnt I? You got to ask yourselves though the coincidence of my experiences and the gentleman who referred to his in May Of THIS YEAR. I dont care if the nice owners now are trying to provide a decent service,Trophy Wife, obviously it wasnt good enough in MAY of this year 2011. Yet I refer to my experiences and you think you can rag on me for doing so? Dosent work with me. Get off the band wagon

I agree that 15 years ago has nothing to do with this..... It just comes across as a slag. I know the guys who work there and they are a great bunch. Glad to see they made things right with you CL.

I go twice a year, Brad, Seaton and Chuck are the salt of the earth.
It is what it is.
Fun meter is off the scale when we are there.
