I havent been able to get over that way to try yet this winter as the boat is out of the water still. Last year starting mid november was amazing with loads of bait everywhere and fish to catch all winter. There should be a few guys out there in the usual spots. Fish structure tight to the bottom with 90-100ft of line out. Good luck and let us know how you make out!

Fishing is good. Picked one up on the 27th about 10lbs, lost two more.

Prawning was good not sure about fishing, lots of bait around.

Prawning was good yesterday, lots of females full of berries that went back, remember prawns close in Stuart Channel tonight until April 1. As for fishing I didn't get any hits but talked with one fellow who had an 8# caught it on herring strip. Nice day and loads of boats.
