Temporary Moorage At Burrard Civic Marina

Hey guys, I'm subletting my sli for the rest of this month, plus July and August. Maybe (likely) September as well. It's a very large slip, fits about a 40 foot LOA, but is billed as a 36' minimum. Even my current boat is smaller than that but I refuse to give up this beauty. It's located right on the head float leading to the gas dock. Includes 1 parking pass. My moorage and power costs are just shy of $800 per month so that's what I would be reimbursed directly. ADDITIONALLY, the marina charges about $185 monthly to deal with the paperwork. Boat has to have insurance and be registered in BC. I guess I'd be charging $200 to anyone taking the slip before the end of this weekend. Not sure the Marina would charge anything for the rest of June. If anyone has any contact questions they can call the marina directly, my end is simple.

10K to 15k a year to moore a boat! OUCH!!
My cost all in is ≈$790 per month. The marina charges a fee for subletting and it's only allowed short term. Considering these next few months are prime time and you only have to commit to footing the bill when your boat ISN'T frozen to the dock, this sounds like the deal of the century.

-Amazing Coho fishing 20 minutes from your slip right now.
-Evening boat rides in False Creek with friends.
-BBQ dinner at the dock, chatting with other boat owners
-Drop the crab traps on your lunch break without the hassle of launching and washing up

Priceless.
