If you goggle "Port Alberni Harbour Authority" there are a bunch of marinas that you can look at. China Creek, Clutesi Haven, Harbour Quay, and Fisherman's Harbour marina.

Not much hope of a private deal, all the Harbour Commission marina's have a strict policy against sub-leasing your stall. Best thing would be to simply contact Clutesi Haven Marina and inquire about short term moorage. They have plenty of space today, but not too much available during the fishing season.
