Talk about crowded.

Anybody here watch buying Alaska? See the episode tonight about the Kenai river? The town of Soldot has a population of 5000 during most of the year. During salmon season they said 300,000 roll through. I don't know how accurate that number is but if even 10% of that number showed up you'd think it would be crowded.

I sure liked that place, other than 1 good log coming down would quickly remove that pretty little dock

Is the water always that high? Looked like run off season almost. And did you see how steep the banks of the river were? Lots of fishermen too. I couldn't help but wonder how many get swept away in that fast moving water.
