Swivel Colour – Black or Sliver

I am fairly new to salt water fishing (in other words lots of reading and little actual experience) and I am preparing for a trip to Shearwater this August.
I have been putting together an assortment of hoochies some with a double hook arrangement and some with a 5/0 siwash hook on a swivel. My question is what colour of swivel should I be using, sliver or black?

Use what you have makes no difference to a Salmon, 42" leader is standard BTW.

Bought some black clips couple of weeks ago and thought they were a good deal at 2 for a buck by now they're all rusted so had to throw them in the fresh water tackle box. Use only stainless for salt so silver would be what I would use.

I use mostly "chain" swivels. They would be stainless, so they are silver. I don't think springs really care about the color of a swivel! Presentation of the bait is more important! Springs usually like a nice slow roll.

Hooks are mostly treble, Barbless and Gamakatsu, size #2, #1/0 or #2/0 mostly depending on where I am fishing. I do lean towards the #1/0. I had three #2 hooks strightend on me last year. The barbless has a better bend allows quick release with great holding power.

Leader length varies with the area I fish... sometimes 42", sometimes up to 8', behind a "Hotspot" flasher! Silvers usually like shorter leaders, while springs like longer! But again depends on whether or not I use flasher?
