Swim baits for Mexico beach casting

Trotac had all kind of swimbaits on display yesterday no time so never took a close look.

I was in Surplus Herby's in Vernon today. They have several 15' Ugly stick casting rods. $129.00. Looked big and clunky, but a big guy could cast it a mile. I don't know how many pieces they break down into.

I've often carried travel rods on a plane without any problems. However, reels with line on them can be an issue. I have heard that if you cover the line with duck tape it is sometimes allowed.

Reel(s) and tackle go in the checked bag. Rod in the tube carried on, no problemo.
