It's a suspension mechanism for any kind of seat out there and I thought I'd install it under the driver seat to make the ride a little more comfortable for the old bones
It looks just like the ones we have on our HYSTER Forklifts at work. Try an industrial supply. Not sure how it would stand up over time with corrosion and such. Keep it well oiled.
Those type of seat brackets are available from truck aftermarket seat mfg's. I've looked under quite a few seats and those are used on cabover HD trucks. Most as pic'd are used on cabover trucks without air available as the shock-absorber. This is shown as non-air, the adjustable knob in frt is hyd. My suggestion locally (vict)would be P&R trucks or Action trucks.[8D] poss Midway in Sooke(doug)
vic, I think that setup would be prone to rust, wouldnt a pedestal type seat with internal suspension be better? Im not sure what theyre worth, I done think theyre cheap though.
IFL theres already the box under the sat that I'd like to keep. You know good for storage
Marula that looks like it would work out ok.Thanks
