Anchovies are definitely a more Southern BC and South of the border species. Droughts are more common and will be more severe South of the USA/Canada border. Dams have had a larger impact South of the border (e.g. Columbia River). Water withdrawals will be more of an issue in watersheds South of the border. And Southern populations of salmon will be more threatened than populations in Northern BC and northwards. All generally accepted points.

But also generally - climate changes brings us in BC problems, as well. Heat waves will be more common and more severe over time. Last July is but one example. Wildfires will present challenges to interior watersheds. Species ranges will shift - and they have been. Certain life history stages and types within certain stocks/species will be under more stress.
