Took the nephew up and stayed with one of the guides for a couple days and his first 3 chinooks ever were a low teen a 23 and a 26 lber.
A few more mid 20's also hit the coffin. Hootchies 120-140. We had great action on an Aurora cuttle with a glow stripe down the back.
It got 4 20+ fish on 4 drops and the 5th fish was the only pop off and it cut the 40 lb leader (teeth or flasher?) Our buddy blew a gasket because he only had 1. Tried Pac net and twine but they were out.
The hot spots were Hall pt. Sonora Island and across from there is Denham (pt.?) There were a few tyees landed as well.

Cheers

LET GO OF THE REEL!!!

Mr Thompson, a great guy to fish with and probably the best. Did you stay at what was once the Wheelhouse Pub? Glad you got into fish there. I sure love the area and enjoy fishing Hall Point.

Tell Tommy I have lots of Auroras if he needs some its Cliff, Johnny Bananas dad from around the corner hes a great guy glad you enjoyed your trip. Heard him on the radio today he didnt do so well.
