Any body ever fish here? Heard there is some good prawning and halibut fishing..

My bro in laws and I be driving by the junction end of september with the boat on the way to and back from moose hunting..was thinking a little surf n turf might be in order..

if you Crab in the right spots you can get king crab in Portland Canal too.

Hmmm what kine of spots do the king crab like? I've seen guy use ring traps..is that what's typically used..How would the salmon fishing be end of september up there?
