Stop thief!

you bet, it was a one time deal, I take everything out of the boat, bought a waterproof box for my sounder n gps, I have a rubbermaid container that fits both my Scotty's standing up, I turn the boom mount rod holders up and they act as rod storage. it is a pain in the butt but the amount we spend on boat stuff it is worth the extra 30 mins to unload n reload the boat the next time out..

I had lot of bad experienced with theft. they stolen my stuff,

in 4 years ago, Stolen my boat and a small motor and an electric motor when the robbery break and enter . They stolen my collect silver coins, stamps and more I gave photos, Vin number and serial number etc to RCMP.. The RCMP had nothing to do...

I installed a blue blinking LED from Lordco,$15. Hardwired, its on all the time and can be seen quite easily. The idea is they will just move to the boat that doesn't have one. These people are not Mensa material. So far so good.

Same with your house. Sometimes little plastic globes, flashing red or blue LED's and stickers work wonders.

I guess it all depends on where you live. Here in Vancouver, I NEVER leave anything out. Everything gets locked up inthe garage every time regardless. My yard gates are locked, I have an alarm system and everything is hidden from site. Diligence and awareness are foremost. I have worked too hard to have lazy useless asshats decide that they deserve my stuff more than I do.......

Don't forget about your killer guard dog..lol
