St Mary lake

interested in fishing this lake any tips and when is a good time,heard November?.any input gratefully appreciated

Tough for Bass @ this time but the Rainbows & Cutts can be surprisingly large.

I've fished the place a lot but rarely for anything other than Bass-I like the North end best lots of variety/structure start around the pumphouse.

You have a boat?

I lived on the island for a few years and fished it lots. November can have some really good dryfly action with small black flies as there is a hatch of big black chronnies in the fall. Otherwise an olive and gold rolled muddler minnow works awesome.

Bass fishing spring through summer is or at least was absolutely awsome on that lake. I have not fished it myself in probably 10 years but I used to go over every summer and always caught lots of fish casting anywhere along the reeds.

Not sure about trout/other species I only ever tried for Bass.
