SPROAT LOGGER'S WINTER SPRING DERBY

Well the boys have returned from 2 great days of fishin with nice weather being A bonus in BARKLEY SOUND with all the regular hot spots being hit!!~~~At the weighin after a couple hundred rods fished for 2 days a " GRAND total" of "TWO" yes "TWO" 17 lb springs were weighed in from all those toprods !! Thats it ??? Ouch !!! any Ideas or thoughts ??

didnt manage to get the weekend off so i missed these years derby. By the sounds of it i didnt miss much. Sounds pretty pathetic. Any more details out there you guys would care to share???
