spring time fishing for sturgeon

Where would be a good area on the Fraser to start finding sturgeon the first week in may

Sorry! I am new to forums, yes i will be contibuting with what ever I can and as much as i can. Yes I do have a jet boat, and im planning to fish around the Mission area, just rigged up a lowrance structure scan to work in combo with my sonar.

Hey Teezee,

You will find plenty of sturgeon that have been staging lower in the river to feed on the oolichan that may or may not show (likely very low in numbers). The Fort langley area fromn the mouth of the Stave down can be a great fishery at this time of year.

Thanks for the welcome and the info, I will need a bunch of luck fishing without a guide for the first time on the fraser but as long as I get some bites and don't drowned I'll call it a good day!
