There is a cool free application that works with your Outlook Inbox called Xobni. It indexes all of your send/received emails and gives you stats on people you send and receive emails from and lets you do a quick search on your emails. One of the interesting things it does is cross references the person's email address with Facebook and it will display their Facebook profile picture for you along with their contact information, and details on the company they work for. I don't think people realize how open these profile pictures are as I've seen some interesting photos displayed from "professional" people at work...

thanks god we did not have this when i was growing up, back then we actually talked and spent time with girls, vs. just texting them....

If you are expecting to meet gals on facebook,,, forget it! I find it is a good way to keep in touch with friends and relatives. If you want a date go and meet them face to face.
