Has been found widespread in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and many States.

In laboratory settings, plants have been shown to uptake CWD prions from soil and solution and deposit the prions throughout their structure, stalks, leaves, flowers, seeds, pollen....

Are agricultural crops grown in CWD areas now laced with the prion?
And if humans are susceptible to the disease...

This could easily develop into a situation where humans cannot even eat plants grown in CWD areas.

International governments and agricultural interests are already preparing for the potential of full scale embargoes on all crops grown in CWD infected lands.

This could be the largest financial crisis North America has ever faced....

Some are betting on it.

All because some people desired to farm wildlife and some wanted their "Right" to shoot trophy bucks and bulls in a pen.

Yes ... good point Noggin. Just wondering when the next bombshell gets launched when we find out that introduction of fish farms has done similar sinister release of virus/bacteria forever despoiling wild fish and god knows what other sea life. Question remains... just how much luck do we have left?
