Soundproofing

I don't have any soundproofing on the doghouse of my inboard. The box is 3/8" ply with a layer of CSM inside and out. The old mercruiser I6 sure makes a lot of noise. Can anyone suggest a soundproofing material that would be suitable for a marine application? Thanks,

Try A Z foam in Vancouver they sell a couple types of foam for sound deadening and I am pretty sure it's a fire safe material they sell.

Most shipyards and chandlery's carry this stuff or can get it.
