I think maybe there may be one or two days open, lol... Sounds like a great day Fin's, lots of fog this morning all of the sudden with this nice weather. Good to see things are picking up. A plethura of pinks for the smoker too. Decided to get on it and mount my radar before Uculet, so i won't be out for a few day's...just as it picks up to???

Hey fins just back from offshore with bags and kurrs,things were wild(wille ?)With bags scoring the big spring of the trip a 32# on a fly rod at 18ft going for coho on a spoon!Also bags nailed the big hali at 45# not bad for the spot we were fishing.Threw back lots of springs from 14 too 20# but no real monsters although they showed now according too vince senior!

Just got back from the Charlottes and land of Luna. FIshing sucks the big one up there still with very low #'s of everything...not even very many pinks. Dosen't look good.I remember the lodge having something like 60 over 50 by now a few years back and this season they are at 4.

Did Otter point yesterday on the morning tide change. Two small springs and then pinks. Lots of 5-6" bait in water but dogfish were breaking off everything. Saw a couple of guys loose big fish by the boat. **** off!! Have to re-tie a bunch of my stuff because of dogfish damaging leaders.

Fished this morning,looked like it might be a good morning,weather was nice and a good incoming tide.The tide was a lot stronger then I thought it would be, bucked tide all morning trying to stay off the trap,lots of crap in the water which made it hard to steer the boat as the wind picked up but managed to pick up a small spring about 10 lbs.Ended up turning around and fished back to the head and then over to Church.Ended up with just the one.All in all still slow out there.

Fished Secretary and Possession Wed. am for 1 16 lb spring and a handful of pinks. no doggie problems. Afternoon tides sound like they have been productive. Met one guy from Alberta who was up on the board with a 43 lb fish caught off Secretary Tues. at 4 pm. It was his first time salmon fishing. Nice start.

Got a 16.8 lb spring near Beechy at around 9:30 which coincidentally is when the 'water level' government site said low tide for Beecher bay! So that makes sense but we got him on a slip weight with a short leader and a pink hoochie! trying for pinks...

Anyone know if it was one of those 'coloumbians? red flesh....

Fished Otter starting at 4:15 pm. Got 1 about ten pounds within 20 minutes then nothing. Watched wolf catch at least 3! I'm surprised he found the time considering the way he was hollering at the group of beached whales on the shore!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Too funny that was my buddy T we left because we got our limit of nice springs 18 to 22 lbers and great day to be on the water for sure couldnt figure out what was going on at 2nd rock though LOL LOL

I've got a 17.5 foot double Eagle with a blue top. Have to put a name on it. I will say hi next time. Best I could figure with the naked ladies was it was one of those calendar fundraisers where they take nude shots of middle aged darlin's and sell the calendars.I saw the photographer setting up. Just our luck. We could have got the Sports Illustrated swim wear beach shots instead we got the Sooke Women's Institute matrons trying to raise gardening money. LOL.

Just returned from a great trip this morning with Gethooked charters.36,23,and19lb beauties were landed and bonked before 12 noon.Recommend this guy too anyone looking for a charter out of pedder bay.
