Sooke diversion dam access

Has anyone been up to the Sooke diversion dam since the washout??? Is the road fixed yet??

I'm talking about access just past Shirley.

Which way are you going in there??Ya cant get in from sooke due to the strike.There is a gaurd at the gate not letting anybody in.(even if you have a key).Iam talking about access from the butler main.

I beleive you can get to diversion from "fourbay RD" right before JR. just keep on that gravel road and giver till you see the dam. Be sure to check an off road map book before venturing any where in this area.

I believe in the back road mapbook it might still be called east mainline?

I'm looking at the backroads book (4th Edition) and the road before JR main is listed as Forby East Main.
