Sold Seasport 2200

This sounds familiar..... Been there before.

Yeah Ray I saw that post and I had same idea when I saw it. I can't wait to do another pod conversion they are so much fun (expensive but worth it). Good luck on this one. That boat is definitely a candidate on my end. I am curious to see how it turns out.

Hauling the boat down island was more than a little nerve wracking. A trailer tire blew apart on the inland highway and the spare only had about 10 lbs. of air in it.We crawled along the curb while people flew by at 120K+ to Cumberland to fill the tire. The drum brakes worked but were not releasing fully,so they stunk and I worried about them seizing all the way home. The start of the money pit will be all new brakes and tires.Somebody stop me,I'm a boat addict.
Read my post above, we are all going to help you

No plans (yet) to pod this one.It had a crate motor installed about 3 years ago and the duoprop leg looks good,no corrosion because it's always been trailered. I couldn't believe how clean the hull was with no bottom paint. The tank hatch needs rebuilding and a few other things, but a smaller project than I've done before.I'll probably keep both boats for now,the Skipper should sell easily with motors still under warranty till 2030.

yeah I got a guy for the Skipper, don't know if he would pull the trigger but he should when you list it.

You can never have too many Seasports 😜

Honest question??? I was told they are a bit tippy at rest ( drifting) or 3 guys on the same side sort of thing, any truth to that ???
No not at all. Mine is very stable hardly notice any tipping at all.
They are sensitive to anyone moving around while running though.

Ya mine was a new drop in when I bought it, 3 years of stubbing my toes on the doghouse hinges was enough, lol. Great boat even with the SD, especially at that price
