they're only $15/fish in brentwood, didn't know there was a sockeye run in the inlet though.

Superstore had whole sockeye in their flyer last week $5/lb

was just at my go to sushi joint in north van, i know the owner quite well, took him fishing when i was guiding at sewells years ago, he said they were paying about one dollar a pound more than last year ( so far, that may change) for sockeye. he won't have farmed salmon in his restaurant.
