The wind gust around noon today took down 6 monster Hemlock right in front of my eyes today in my neighbours yard. Crushed his wifes car in his driveway. I have never seen it blow SW so hard, that was bloody scary **** today watching all those big trees bent to over towards my house.Power is on again though. This weather is getting spookier each year.

Today in Merritt we got RAIN RAIN and more rain, but we not recieved aany wind, Yet! Snow is going fast! You guys were hit pretty hard on the island! Real bad down in Seattle area as well. I feel for you guys.

We were very lucky this storm. By the time the S.W. winds hit last night, most, if not all the snow in the trees was gone...no power outages to speak of and no accicents in our area either.
River here doesn't look like it's going to flood so it's all good....time to get back to Alberia today and minus 22.
Even got the kids all geared up for opening day at Mount Washington this thursday. THEY should have all the fun!!!
