Smoked Octopus

We deef fried a couple of legs off of a big boy on the dock at Winter harbor. Pretty chewy
Yeah I can't see that working well. Big ones need to be booked to tenderize them. The real little ones can go straight on the grill. Freezing them also helps to tenderize.
 
For grilling colour? Please explain!
Post preparation. Sprinkled on. It’s the way it’s done in Spain… usually when it’s cooked. Not sure about smoked. “Pulpo a la Gallego”. Cooked pulp with Basically rock salt, olive oil and paprika. Check it out on YouTube.
