Shore fishing in Port Hardy?

Any ideas on shore fishing in or around Port Hardy? I've never been up to P.H. before, but I'm coming in September, and would love to do some fishing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Down behind the airport can be good off the beach for Pinks. May be a bit late in September though. Possibly some Coho may be around.
