Looking to bring my boat to Vancouver island that weekend to fish. Any place better than others for accommodation and quality fishing. I have a 17 foot StarCraft.

I would go to Sooke personally...Even first week to mid Sept there still are some big fish moving through...And the larger coho will start showing up...

17 ft is fine, just watch the forecast. You usually don't have to go more than a few miles.
