sealing cracks in canvas......

Has anyone had any success sealing up cracks in their canvas tops? I've got a few spots that are cracked and would like to try and repair it to last a little longer. It's a white canvas so I am hoping to use some sort of product that will not stand out.

I wonder if this stuff might do the trick - http://www.flexsealspraycan.com/ - apparently it comes in white.

Industrial plastics and paints Sells something called VLP which stands for vinyl / leather patch (I think). I wonder if it would work or something similar. You'd have to research the product or go talk to them and I'm not sure what colour it is. They recommended it to repair little tears in my seat covers.

Bought it yesterday so I haven't used it yet and can't comment on how it works.

try getting a tent/backpack repair kit. should work out for you same sort of fabrics and abuse
