Winter storms have a washed alot of sea weed onto the beach around here....I recently aquired a de hydrator,....thinking of drying some for seasoning?....any body have any experience with this sort of thimg?
I have never done it but a friend has mentioned a lot of sea weed around here is edible. I use dried seaweed powder when curing fish for sushi. It’s Japanese but it would be cool to do some with local seaweed. Maybe find a local substitute for kombu for making dashi and ramen broth. I am interested to see what you find out.
