I believe the target audience for this one is the Great Lakes crowd.
The cannon auto depth adjustment only seems beneficial if you have a reel that takes in slack as the ball comes up

Exactly , temp is everything to those guys fishing those knock off great lakes salmon

Ya i don't see those adding anything if you already have a decent sonar, gps unit. Also with the amount of $100 cannonball setups I lose every season I certainly don't need to add any more money to my dr line. It would be nice if scotty added a memory feature to their counters like the canons but since they can't even fix the digi counters I don't think it will happen.
