Hi guys wen't to the boat show on mon.[still have a hardon]Anyway talked to the scotty guy about Dyeema wire.He said it's made out of the same material as the fishing line. That small diameter stuff. Don't remember the name .Then i brought up the black box? Yes it is a conflict of interest he told me.He said other companys were using it so they had to also. Then started to blab about his natural current on his boat,I.m going to try some on one side.It is strong stuff and i wont get a fray in the hoof.

thanks the runt

seems to me like it should not be a problem as long as the boat's natural voltage is between .6 and .7 volts.
check your natural voltage on the black box, and if your boat
falls in within this range you're ok.
otherwise might have to look at bonding wires, zinc's etc.

You have to use a separate meter to meter a boat not the black box because its also on for the other side. The voltage will change on BOTH sides if you change to one wire and one dynemmra be carefull if your boat is fishing fine now why change.

GOOD LUCK WOLF!!!

How do you check your boat? Meter to ground and the down rigger line or...?
