Got some other feed back and hear that the pulley with no swivel is a one issue and the other is the arm is short and staight out so the traps don't come up as high. May have to wait for second generation Scotty to come out.

I have the ACE and have no problems. The swivel pully does not create issues for me. Boat still turns to face trap when hauling and swivel seems to make fore when there is an odd angle.

Not sure why you have your traps plugged into 15 amp circuits. Scotty recommends 30 amp fuses for their downriggers. I have my Ace prawn puller plugged into the 30 amp Scotty plug and it never blows the fuse.

Only problem I see with it is the fixed pulley head. If your drifting, in urrent or whatever it looks like it will bind.
